Being a Christian in God's Kingdom is about more than merely attending Sunday services. At ENGAGED we believe that meaning and direction in life can only be found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In order to be that kind of church, we realize it requires us meeting you where you are and walking with you as God shows you his plans for your life.
This is the hands around, hands up, hands out style of ministry that God desires for us to share with the world around us. With our hands up we worship God in total surrender, with our hands around we nurture, develop and empower fellow Christians to become disciples, and with our hands out we serve our community inviting them through love and service to enter into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The vission of our church is simple:

Sharing Jesus Christ
God has saved us through Jesus Christ to be Ambassadors so when a door is opened let God appeal through you.
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Strengthen One Another
God has called us to build people who will build up the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-16
11So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting , grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Show God's Love In Action
God expects us to have compassion for those he brings across our path to serve.Luke 10:33-35
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

MISSION
The Mission of Engaged Christian Church is to be a hands on ministry that Share Jesus Christ, Strengthen One Another , and Show the Love of God In Action
